DU Member Login FAQ’s
Question: I have always been logged in to the DU members-only area. Do I have to log in again?
Answer: Yes. We have upgraded our system and all members must log in again.
Question: Will I have to log in every time I come to the members only section?
Answer: No. Once you successfully log in the first time, you will not have to log in again from the same computer.
Question: Can I choose my own password instead of using my member ID?
Answer: Yes, you can now create your own password that can be used to log in to the members-only section of the site. However, the first time you log in to the new site, you will be asked for your Member ID. This is the only time we will require this information from you.

Your 8-digit membership ID number is located on your Ducks Unlimited membership card and on the Ducks Unlimited magazine label (see below).
A "check number" has been added to the end of your membership ID number located on your Ducks Unlimited magazine label. PLEASE NOTE this number should not be used when creating your member login. Please enter only the first 8 digits of the number if taken from the Ducks Unlimited magazine.
When entering your Member ID taken from your Ducks Unlimited membership card, simply enter the Member ID as shown on your card. |

Question: What about my username and password to the DU Message Boards?
Answer: Before accessing the new DU Message Boards, you will need to complete the initial login process. After that, you will be asked if you already have an account with the old system. If so, you will be prompted to enter your forum nickname and the old password you were using on that system. Please note that after completing this step, this password will no longer be needed.
Question: I have never used the message boards before, but would like to start now. What do I need to do?
Answer: After you login with your new password, you will be asked if you are new to the message boards. To create an account, simply click the appropiate link and create a nickname that will be used in the forums. Please remember that this is the name that will show up next to your messages on the boards.
Question: Can I change my message board username?
Answer: You may change your nickname at any time by clicking on the “My Settings” link on the message boards.
