Outdoors-related groups from across the state, including Ducks Unlimited, will converge on the North Dakota State Capitol on the morning of Friday, Feb. 20 for the first Outdoors Day at the legislature. Hikers, bikers, birders and those providing outdoor spaces for activities will join hunters and other sportsmen and women. Organizations and agencies attending will include those supporting parks, trails, and habitat for mule deer, turkeys, elk and waterfowl.

The groups will be handing out information at tables in the Memorial Hall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to take the opportunity to visit with their local lawmakers.

Refreshments will be provided.
