Kidder County, 320-acre tract This prairie tract is located in north central Kidder County, North Dakota. The tract lies on the Missouri Coteau, an elevated prairie landscape of glacial origin dotted with numerous wetland depressions. Wetland densities in the area have the potential to attract 60 to 80 breeding duck pairs per square mile. Known for its productivity, the Coteau is considered the "best of the best"; of the remaining waterfowl breeding habitat in the northern Great Plains.
